RESOLUTION REVERSING THE DECISION OF THE
ZONING BOARD OF MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA,
WITHOUT PREJUDICE AND APPROVING THE REQUEST
OF SUN REFINING & MARKETING COMPANY TO
REVERSE THE DECISION OF THE ZONING BOARD OF
MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, DENYING A CHANGE OF
ZONING FROM BU-2 TO BU-2 WITH A BU-2A
WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Monroe County, Florida, on
October 27, 1983, denied a change of zoning from BU-2 to BU-2
with a BU-2A on the following described property:
Part of Tract E of Port Largo, as recorded in Plat Book
5, Page 3, and located in Section 33, Township 61
South, Range 39 East, Key Largo.
WHEREAS, Sun Refining & Marketing Company have duly appealed
said decision to the Board of County Commissioners of Monroe
County, Florida, sitting as the Board of Appeals, and the Board
having reviewed the transcript of the October 27, 1983 hearing,
having considered the argument of all parties present wishing to
speak on the matter, and all premises considered, now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF
MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, sitting as the BOARD OF APPEALS, as
follows:
1. That the decision of the Zoning Board of Monroe County,
Florida, on October 27, 1983, denying a change of zoning from
BU-2 to BU-2 with a BU-2A as requested by Sun Refining &
Marketing Company be, and the same is hereby reversed.
2. That the said Sun Refining & Marketing Company be, and
they are hereby granted a reversal of the decision of the Zoning
Board of Monroe County, Florida, denying a change of zoning from
BU-2 to BU-2 with a BU-2A on the above described property.
3. The Clerk of the Board of County Commissioners of
Monroe County, Florida, is hereby instructed to forward a
certified copy of this Resolution to the Secretary, Department of
Community Affairs, 2571 Executive Center Circle, East,
Tallahassee, Florida 32301.

PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Monroe County, Florida, at a regular meeting of said Board held
on the 4th day of May, A.D. 1984.
