RESOLUTION NO. 147-1984
RESOLUTION APPROVING PROMISSORY NOTE AND
SECURITY AGREEMENT BY AND BETWEEN THE MARINE
BANK OF MONROE COUNTY, THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, AND
THE MONROE COUNTY SHERIFF"S DEPARTMENT AND
AUTHORIZING THE CHAIRMAN OF THE BOARD OF
COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF MONROE COUNTY,
FLORIDA TO EXECUTE SAME.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Monroe County,
Florida, concurs with and authorizes the Sheriff of Monroe
County, Florida, to lease-purchase 18 automobiles, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Monroe County,
Florida, and the Monroe County Sheriff desires to finance said
automobiles through The Marine Bank of Monroe County, now,
therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF
MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, as follows:
1. That the Board of County Commissioners of Monroe
County, Florida, hereby approves the financing of 18 automobiles
to be purchased by the Monroe County Sheriff's Department on a
lease-purchase basis with The Marine Bank of Monroe County.
2. That the Chairman of the Board of County Commissioners
of Monroe County, Florida, is hereby authorized to execute said
Promissory Note and Security Agreement by and between The Marine
Bank of Monroe County, the Board of County Commissioners of
Monroe County, Florida, and the Monroe County Sheriff's Depart-
ment.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Monroe County, Florida, at a regular meeting of said Board held
on the 18th day of May, A.D. 1984.
