RESOLUTION UPHOLDING THE DECISION OF THE
BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT OF MONROE COUNTY,
FLORIDA, WITHOUT PREJUDICE AND DENYING THE
REQUEST OF ST, COLUMBA'S EPISCOPAL CHURCH TO
REVERSE THE DECISION OF THE BOARD OF
ADJUSTMENT OF MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, DENYING
A DIMENSIONAL VARIANCE
WHEREAS, the Board of Adjustment of Monroe County, Florida,
on January 24, 1984, denied the request of St, Columba's
Episcopal Church for a dimensional variance as described below:
Lots 1 through 5, and Lot 13, Square C of Crane Hammock
Subdivision, as recorded in Plat Book 3, Page 51, and
located in Section II, Township 66 South, Range 32
East. Marathon Key Vaca. Present zoning is RU-1,
WHEREAS, St Columba's Episcopal Church has duly appealed
said decision to the Board of County Commissioners of Monroe
County, Florida, sitting as the Board of Appeals, and the Board
having reviewed the transcript of the January 24, 1984 hearing,
having considered the argument of all parties present wishing to
speak on the matter, and all premises considered, now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF
MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, sitting as the BOARD OF APPEALS, as
follows:
1, That the decision of the Board of Adjustment of Monroe
County, Florida, on January 24, 1984, denying the request of
St. Columba's Episcopal Church for a dimensional variance be, and
the same is hereby upheld,
2, That the said St, Columba's Episcopal Church be, and
they are hereby denied a reversal of the decision of the Board of
Adjustment of Monroe County, Florida, denying a dimensional
variance on the above-described property.
3, That the Clerk is hereby directed to make available to
the Field Representative of the Department of Community Affairs a
certified copy of this resolution by certified mail to said Field
Representative, Post Office Box 990, Key West, Florida 33041,
return receipt requested,
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Monroe County, Florida, at a regular meeting of said Board held
on the ~ day of
