RESOLUTION UPHOLDING THE DECISION OF THE
BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT OF MONROE COUNTY,
FLORIDA, WITHOUT PREJUDICE AND DENYING THE
REQUEST OF T.I.I., INC., TO REVERSE THE
DECISION OF THE BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT OF MONROE
COUNTY, FLORIDA, DENYING THE CONSTRUCTION OF
A PIER 400' x 5' WITH A 5' x 30' ilL" ON LOT
1, SAWYERS KEY.
WHEREAS, the Board of Adjustment of Monroe County, Florida,
on March 2, 1984, denied the construction of a pier 400' x 5'
with a 5' x 30' ilL" on the following described property:
On Lot 1, Sawyers Key, and located in Section 27 and
28, Township 65 South, Range 27 East.
WHEREAS, T.I.I., Inc., has duly appealed said decision to
the Board of County Commissioners of Monroe County, Florida,
sitting as the Board of Appeals, and the ~oard having reviewed
the transcript of the March 2, 1984 hearing, having considered
the argument of all parties present wishing to speak on the
matter, and all premises considered, now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF
MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, sitting as the BOARD OF APPEALS, as
follows:
1. That the decision of the Board of Adjustment of Monroe
County, Florida, on March 2, 1984, be, and the same is hereby
upheld.
2. That the said T.I.I., Inc., be, and they are hereby
denied a reversal of the decision of the Board of Adjustment of
Monroe County, Florida, denying the construction of a pier 400' x
5' with a 5' x 30' "L" on Lot 1, Sawyers Key.
3. That the Clerk is hereby directed to make available to
the Field Representative of the Department of Community Affairs a
certified copy of this resolution by certified mail to said Field
Representative, Post Office Box 990, Key West, Florida 33041,
return receipt requested.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Monroe County, Florida, at a regular meeting of said Board held
