Resolution 268-1984 Frank Romano Tourist Development Council RESOLUTION NO. 268_1984 A RESOLUTION EXTENDING THE EXISTING CONTRACT BETWEEN MONROE COUNTY AND NEWMAN, BLITZ AND McCONNELL, INC. FOR A PERIOD OF THIRTY (30) DAYS. WHEREAS, Monroe County and Newman, Blitz and McConnell, Inc., presently have a contract for advertising and public relations services, and WHEREAS, the firm of Newman, Blitz and McConnell, Inc. has again been selected by Monroe County to perform such services for the ensuing twenty-four (24) month period, and WHEREAS, a new contract cannot be finalized prior to expira- tion of the present contract, and WHEREAS, the Monroe County Tourist Development Council has requested a thirty (30) day extension of the present contract between Monroe County and Newman, Blitz and McConnell, Inc., now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, as follows: That the presently existing agreement between Monroe County and Newman, Blitz and McConnell, Inc. for advertising and public relations services be, and the same is hereby, extended for a period of thirty (30) days while a new contract is finalized and executed. PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of County Commissioners of Monroe County, Florida, at a regular meeting of said Board held on the 21st day of September, A.D. 1984.
