RESOLUTION NO. 295_1984
A RESOLUTION DEDICATING THE MONROE COUNTY GARAGE
FACILITY AND PROVIDING FOR THE COMMEMORATING OF
SAID FACILITY.
WHEREAS, a new Monroe County Garage Facility has been
constructed and will be dedicated on November 16, 1984, and
WHEREAS, this facility is a great improvement in the ability
of the Public Works Department to perform its duties and
functions, and
WHEREAS, such new facility will be of great importance to
the furtherance of the overall functions of the Public Works
Department in performing its duties, and
WHEREAS, the Department desires to perpetuate a reminder of
this accomplishment and in so doing recognize all those who have
taken part in making such facility possible, now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNTY COMMISSION OF MONROE
COUNTY, FLORIDA, that:
1. The new Monroe County Garage Facility, located at the
Key West International Airport shall be dedicated in a proper
ceremony on November 16, 1984.
2. That the Public Works Department shall provide an
adequate time capsule which shall contain a copy of this
Resolution signed by all members of the Monroe County Commission
and others as well as an additional document affixing the
signatures of all those person, who in the judgment of the Public
Works Department, were instrumental in having this facility
planned and built.
That said time capsule shall contain the
documents described in this paragraph and shall be opened on the
anniversary date of the dedication of said building in the year
2034 A.D.
3. That the Commission, in passing this Resolution,
authorizes a page being attached hereto bearing the signatures of
all County Commissioners and the signature of the County Admini-
strator, the Director of Public Works, the County Clerk of Monroe
County and the County Attorney.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Monroe County, Florida, at a regular meeting of said Board held
on the Iqth day of Or' fohpr- , A.D. 1984.
