RESOLUTION NO. 110-1982
RESOLUTION REVERSING THE DECISION OF THE BOARD OF
ADJUSTMENT OF MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA UPON THE APPEAL
OF TOM'S HARBOR COMMITTEE.
WHEREAS, the Board of Adjustment of Monroe County, Florida,
on December 11, 1981, denied the request of TOM'S HARBOR COMMITTEE
for an Administrative Appeal as described below:
Tom's Harbor Keys are administratively defined as
isolated islands in the connotation of the GU zoning
classification, whereby fishing camps are a permitted
use.
and,
WHEREAS, the said TOM'S HARBOR COMMITTEE having duly appealed
said decision to the Board of County Commissioners, sitting as the
Board of Appeals, and the Board having reviewed the transcript of
the December 11, 1981 hearing, having considered the argument of all
parties present wishing to speak on the matter, and all premises
considered,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF MONROE
COUNTY, FLORIDA, sitting as the BOARD OF APPEALS, as follows:
1. That the decision of the Board of adjustment of Monroe
County, Florida, of December 11, 1981 regarding the requested
Administrative Appeal for TOM'S HARBOR CO~~1ITTEE be and the same
is hereby reversed.
2. That the said TOM'S HARBOR COMMITTEE be and it is hereby
granted that Tom's Harbor Keys are administratively defined as
isolated islands in the connotation of the GU Zoning Classification,
whereby fishing camps are a permitted use.
Passed and adopted by the Board of County Commissioners of
Monroe County, Florida at a regular meeting held on the 22nd day
of March, A.D. 1982.
