RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CHAIID1AN OF THE BOARD OF
COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, TO
EXECUTE &~ M1ENDMENT TO CONTRACT BY AND BETWEEN THE
UNITED WAY OF DADE COUNTY, INC. AREA AGENCY ON AGING
FOR DADE & MONROE COUNTIES AND THE MONROE COUNTY
BOARD OF COUNTY COMHISSIONERS, REGARDING THE NUTRI-
TION PROGRAM.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF MONROE
COUNTY, FLORIDA, as follows:
That the Mayor and Chairman of the Board of County Commissioners
of Monroe County, Florida, is hereby authorized to execute an Amend-
ment to Contract by and between the United Way of Dade County, Inc.
Area Agency on Aging for Dade & Monroe Counties and the Monroe County
Board of County Commissioners, a copy of same being attached hereto,
regarding the Nutrition Program.
Passed and adopted by the Board of County Commissioners of
Monroe County, Florida, at a regular meeting of said Board held
on the 12th day of July, A.D. 1982.

TIIIS AGREE~IENT, entered into this 3 day of JUNE 19 82
by and bet\veen Monroe Cty. Bd. of Conunissioners I NutrJ. tJ.on J?rogram
hereinafter referred to as the "Provider", and the Area Agency
on Aging for Dade and Monroe Counties of Unitcd Way.
l\'ITNESSETH:
The above-named parties hereby mutually agrce:
I. That the contract between the said parties ~ XX
cover ing the period from October 1, 1981 to September 30, 1982,
for USDA Cash-in-Lieu of Commodities.
A. The total amount of funds is increased as follows:
Original Allocation: $ 30,048
Increase: 3,000
Amended Total: $ 33,048
B. A Special Provision is added as follows:
The original contract in the amount of $ 30,048
is to be considered an attachment to this amendment.
I I. The termination date remains September 30, 1982
III. The provision of services will remain the same throughout
the period.
IV. The attached contract entered into on October 1, 1981 is, in
fact J the contractual agreement bet\'ieen the Provider and
the Area Agency and this is the agreement under which
payment has been taking place. '
V. Only items in the contract or attachments to the contract
in conflict with this amendment to contract shall be and
are hereby changed tp conform with the contract.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereto have caused this
agreement to be executed by their officials thereunto
duly authorized. '
