Resolution 204-1982 RESOLUTION NO. 204 -1982 RESOLUTION RECOGNIZING AND COMMEMORATING CO~WISSIONER WILHELMINA HARVEY'S SELECTION TO THE FLORIDA WOMEN'S HALL OF FAME. WHEREAS, Commissioner Wilhelmina Harvey has been selected by the Governor as one of the six first ladies to become members of the Florida Women's Hall of Fame, and WHEREAS, such a distinction has brought acclaim and recognition to Key West and Monroe County, and WHEREAS, the County Commission feels it appropriate and fitting to publicly proclaim its pride in such a distinction, now therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, that due recognition is hereby expressed for the single honor bestowed upon Commissioner Wilhelmina Harvey in her selection as one of the original group of women to become members of the Florida Women's Hall of Fame. BE IF FURTHER RESOLVED that since said presentation had a County public purpose, necessary expenses such as travel to Tallahassee, lodging and the like be defrayed by the County upon presentation of vouchers. BE IF FURTHER RESOLVED that this Resolution shall have a facsimile thereof made by the County properly executed and framed and made as a presentation to the aforesaid Commissioner Harvey. Passed and adopted by the Board of County Commissioners of Monroe County, Florida, at a regular meeting of said Board held on the 26th day of July A.D. 1982.
