RESOLUTION NO. 088 -1993
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF
MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, RENOUNCING AND DISCLAIMING ANY
RIGHT OF THE COUNTY AND THE PUBLIC IN AND TO A PORTION
OF CROSS WAY, BAY POINT PARK, SADDLEBUNCH KEY, MONROE
COUNTY, FLORIDA.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Monroe County,
Florida, desires to renounce and disclaim any right of the County
and the public in and to the hereinafter described streets,
alley -ways, roads or highways, and
WHEREAS, due notice has been published and a public hearing
has been held in accordance with Chapter 336, Florpa_-'StaLpu.te

WHEREAS, the Board has determined that vacation of the said
road is for the general public welfare, and conforms to the
requirements of Florida Statutes §336.09 and §336.10, now,
therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF
MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, that the Board hereby renounces and
disclaims any right of the County and the public in and to the
following described streets, alley -ways, roads or highways as
delineated on the hereinafter described map or plat, to -wit:
Commencing at the intersection of the west line of
Section 8, Township 67 South, Range 27 East and the
center line of the Overseas Highway (U.S. Highway 1);
bear N 56°47'00" E 3,678.72 feet to a point; thence
S 04048'30" E 114.78 feet along the west right-of-way
line of East Circle Drive to a point; continue
southerly along the west right-of-way line of East
Circle Drive 67.54 feet along an arc with a radius of
645.00 feet to a point; thence continue southerly along
the west right-of-way line of East Circle Drive
S 01011'30" W 158.24 feet to a point; the Point of
Beginning of the parcel herein described; also to be
known as being the northwest corner of Cross Way, Bay
Point Subdivision, as recorded in Plat Book 3, Page 75,
in the Official Records of Monroe County, Florida;
thence following the northwest right-of-way line of
Cross Way bear southwesterly 24.26 feet along an arc
with a radius of 25.00 feet to a point; thence

northwesterly along an arc with a radius of 25.00 feet
to a point; thence bear southeasterly 117.51 feet along
an arc with a radius of 827.34 feet to a point; thence
