Resolution 318-1983 Mr. Vincent Drost RESOLUTION NO. 318 -1983 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING DEED TO MONROE COUNTY FROM VINCENT M. DROST AND WILVER I. DROST CONVEYING A PARCEL OF LAND TO BE USED AS A SUB-STATION OR ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICE BY THE MONROE COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE. WHEREAS, Vincent M. Drost and Wilver I. Drost desire to convey that certain parcel of land described as: Lot One (1), Block Twenty Three (23), Cudjoe Gardens Eighth Addition, Cudjoe Key, Monroe County, Florida, according to the plat thereof as recorded in Plat Book 7, Page 16, of the Public Records of Monroe County, Florida. to Monroe County, Florida, to be used as a sub-station and/or administrative office by the Monroe County Sheriff's Department, and WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Monroe County, Florida, is desirous of accepting said parcel of land under the terms and conditions contained in said deed, now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, as follows: 1. That said Board hereby accepts the deed conveying to Monroe County the above described parcel of land by Vincent M. Drost and Wilver I. Drost with heartfelt gratitude for Mr. and Mrs. Drost's generosity. 2. That the Clerk of this Board is hereby instructed to forward a certified copy of this resolution to Mr. and Mrs. Vincent M. Drost, whose mailing address is 100 Drost Drive, Cudjoe Gardens, Summerland Key, Florida 33042. PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of County Commissioners of Monroe County, Florida, at a regular meeting of said Board held on the 23rd day of November, A.D. 1983.
