RESOLUTION UPHOLDING THE DECISION OF THE
ZONING BOARD OF MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA,
WITHOUT PREJUDICE AND DENYING THE REQUEST OF
PETER & ELLEN GREENWALD AND ARTHUR I. &
VICTORIA EICHNER TO REVERSE THE DECISION OF
THE ZONING BOARD OF MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA
DENYING A CHANGE OF ZONING FROM GU TO BU-2Q
WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Monroe County, Florida, on
September 28, 1983, denied a change of zoning from GU to BU-2Q on
the following described property:
Tract SA, Less the Northeasterly 800 feet of said Tract
SA, according to the Amended Plat of Mandalay as
recorded in Plat Book 2, Page 2S, and located in
Section 6, Township 62 South, Range 39 East. Key
Largo.
WHEREAS, Peter & Ellen Greenwald and Arthur I. & Victoria
Eichner have duly appealed said decision to the Board of County
Commissioners of Monroe County, Florida, sitting as the Board of
Appeals, and the Board having reviewed the transcript of the
September 28, 1983 hearing, having considered the argument of all
parties present wishing to speak on the matter, and all premises
considered, now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF
MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, sitting as the BOARD OF APPEALS, as
follows:
l. That the decision of the Zoning Board of Monroe County,
Florida, on September 28, 1983, denying a change of zoning from
GU to BU-2Q as requested by Peter & Ellen Greenwald and Arthur I.
& Victoria Eichner be, and the same is hereby upheld.
2. That the said Peter & Ellen Greenwald and Arthur I. &
Victoria Eichner be, and they are hereby denied a reversal of the
decision of the Zoning Board of Monroe County, Florida, denying a
change of zoning from GU to BU-2Q on the above described
property.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Monroe County, Florida, at a regular meeting of said Board held
on the 10th day of November, A.D. 1983.
