RESOLUTION NO. 202 -1983
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF
MONROE COUNTY. FLORIDA. PUBLICLY ACKNOWLEDGING AND
THANKING THE SCHOOLD BOARD OF MONROE COUNTY. FLORIDA
FOR DEEDING TO MONROE COUNTY A PARCEL OF LAND FOR USE
BY THE TAVERNIER VOLUNTEER FIRE COMPANY AND AMBULANCE
CORPS. INC.
WHEREAS. the School Board of Monroe County. Florida. was the
owner of a parcel of land in the County of Monroe. State of Florida.
to-wit:
Lots Fifteen (15). Sixteen (16). Seventeen (17). Twenty-
four (24). Twenty-five (25). Twenty-six (26). Twenty-
seven (27) and Twenty-eight (28) of Block Three (3) of
Tavernier. a subdivision in the N.W. ~ Section Thirty-
four (34). Township Sixty-two (62) South. Range Thirty-
eight (38) East. Monroe County. Florida. according to
the plat thereof recorded in Plat Book 1. at Page 105.
in the Office of the Clerk of the Circuit Court in and
for Monroe County. Florida.

WHEREAS. the Monroe County School Board. by and through
Resolution No. 138 has determined that the parcel of land will
best be used for the public purposes currently being served by the
Board of County Commissioners of Monroe County. Florida. to-wit.
occupancy by the Tavernier Volunteer Fire Company and Ambulance
Corps. Inc.. and
WHEREAS. the School Board of Monroe County. Florida. has con-
conveyed said parcel to the Board of County Commissioners of Monroe
County. Florida. by warranty deed dated March 28. 1983 and recorded
in Official Record Book 881. pages 17 and 18 of the Public Records
of Monroe County. Florida. now. therefore.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF MONROE
COUNTY. FLORIDA. that:
1. Said conveyance is hereby accepted and approved and the
School Board of Monroe County. Florida is publicly thanked for its
generous conveyance of said parcel of land for the benefit of the
citizens of Monroe County.
2. That the Clerk of said Board is hereby directed to forward
a certified copy of this resolution to the School Board of Monroe
County. Florida.

Passed and adopted by the Board of County Commissioners of
Monroe County, Florida, at a regular meeting of said Board held on
the 22nd day of July, A.D. 1983.
