RESOLUTION NO. 048 -1983
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
OF MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, RECOGNIZING AND COM-
MENDING JOSEPH VALENZUELA FOR HIS PUBLIC SERVICE
WITH THE MONROE COUNTY BUILDING DEPARTMENT.
WHEREAS, Joseph Valenzuela was employed by Monroe County,
Florida, as a Building Inspector from 1960 until 1975, and
WHEREAS, Mr. Valenzuela was the first Building Inspector hired
by the County, and
WHEREAS, he served this County for fifteen years with devotion
and expertise that was a credit to himself as well as to Monroe
County, and
WHEREAS, at the time of his retirement from County service
in 1975, the outstanding contributions by Mr. Valenzuela were not
adequately recognized by the County, now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF MONROE
COUNTY, FLORIDA, that:
Joseph Valenzuela is hereby commended for his contributions to
the County during fifteen years as a dependable and highly qualified
Building Inspector for the County, which deserves this public
recognition at this time.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Board of County
Commissionersof Monroe County, Florida, held on the 18th day of
February, 1983.
