RESOLUTION NO. 105-1981
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Monroe County,
Florida, has previously concurred with and authorized the Sheriff
of Monroe County to lease-purchase 27 automobiles, and
WHEREAS, there possibly would be a savings if a loan could
be obtained from a local lending institution by a reduction in
interest rate, now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF MONROE
COUNTY, FLORIDA, as follows:
1. That the Board of County Commissioners of Monroe County,
Florida hereby authorizes as an alternate metho~ ln addition to
the method of lease-purchase of 27 new vehicles, the obtaining of
a loan by the Sheriff of Monroe County directly from a local lending
institution to be payable within one year including as necessary
a balloon payment at the end of the year.
Passed and adopted by the Board of County Commissioners of
Monroe County, Florida, at a regular meeting of said Board held
on the 7th day of April, A.D. 1981.
