RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CHAIRMAN OF THE BOARD O.F
COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, T0'
EXECUTE AN EASEMENT BY AND BETWEEN'.THE MONROE COUNTY
MUNICIPAL SERVICE DISTRICT AND THE FLORIDA KEYS ELEC-
TRIC COOPERATIVE ASSOCIATION. INC.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF MONROE
COUNTY,::FLO.RIDA, as follows:
That the Chairman of the Board of County Commissioners of Monroe
County, Florida, is hereby authorized to execute an Easement by and
between the Monroe County Municipal Service District and the Florida
Keys Electric Cooperative Association, Inc., a copy of same being
attached hereto.
Passed and adopted by the Board of County Commissioners of
Monroe County, Florida, at a.regular meeting of said Board held
on the 7th day of April, A.D. 1981.

THIS EASEMENT made and entered into this 7th
day-. of
April , 1981, MONROE COUNTY MUNICIPAL SERVICE
DISTRICT, a political subdivision of the State of Florida, Grantor,
does hereby grant and convey unto THE FLORIDA KEYS ELECTRIC CO-
OPERATIVE ASSOCIATION, INC., a non-profit Florida corporation, its
licensees, successors, Grantee, for one dollar and other valuable
consideration, receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, a right-of-
way and easement for the erection and continued operation, main—
tenance, repair, alteration, inspection, and replacement of signs, '
telephone lines and cable -vision lines and circuits of the Grantee,
its licensees, successors, and assigns, attached to poles or other___
supports, together with guys, crossarms, and other attachments and
incidental equipment thereon, and appurtenances, over, on, and across
the following premises, belonging to the said Grantor in Monroe
County, State of Florida, in the following location:
Commencing at a point marking the intersection of the
northerly right-of-way line of Highway U. S. #1 and the
easterly property line of the Monroe County Municipal
Service District property on Long Key, said point being
located in Government Lot 3 of Section 33, Township 64
South, Range 35 East; thence along the northerly right-of-
way line of Highway U. S. #1 a distance of 7.5 feet to a
point of beginning.
From said point• of beginning, bear-N 39 degrees'45-minutes
W for a distance of 350 feet to establish the centerline
of a utility easement, 15 feet wide, bounded on the east
by the easterly property.line of the Monroe County Munici-
pal.Service District property and bounded on the west by
a line 15 feet to the west of and parallel with the
easterly property line of said property. (Long Key)
Together with all rights of ingress and egress necessary for the
full and complete use, occupation, and enjoyment of the easement
hereby granted and all rights and privileges incident thereto, in-
cluding the right from time to time to cut, trim, and remove trees,
brush, overhanging branches and other obstructions which may injure
or interfere with.the Grantee's use, occupation, or enjoyment of
this easement and the operation, maintenance, and repair of Grantee's
electrical system.

The Grantor he warrants that it is the owner of the property
described above in fee simple, and they, the undersigned, warrant that
they have authority to grant this easement.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, we have hereunto set our names and seals
