RESOLUTION 175- 1981
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CHAIRMAN OF THE BOARD
OF THE COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA,
TO EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT BY AND BETWEEN MONROE COUNTY,
STATE OF FLORIDA AND ALEX USED AUTO PARTS AND METAL,
INC. FOR SALVAGE SERVICES.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF
MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, as follows:
That the Chairman of the Board of County Commissioners
of Monroe County, Florida, is hereby authorized to execute
an Agreement by and between Monroe County, Florida and
Alex Used Auto Parts and Metal, Inc., for salavage services.
Passed and adopted by the Board of County Commissioners
of Monroe County, Florida, at a regular meeting held on the
2nd day of June, 1981.

a political of the State of Florida, hereinafter
called the party of the first part, and ALEX USED AUTO PARTS
AND METAL, I',N?C. , 17iereinafter called the party of the second
part,

WITNESSETH, that the parties hereto for the consideration
hereinafter named agree as follows:
1. That the party of the second part shall exclusively
pick up and dispose of all abandoned or junked automobiles on
public property or any public road or road right-of-way as
designated by the Monroe County Zoning Director or other
appropriate County official within the area from Key West
to the western end of the Seven Mile Bridge in Monroe County,
Florida.
2. That the party of the second part further agrees to
pick up all junk metal from all County dump sites as requested
by the Director of Public Works (Pollution Control) or other
appropriate personnel within the total County of Monroe.
3. Party of the second part agrees to accomplish
removal and disposal of cars and junk metal as set forth above.
4. The party of the second part hereby agrees to hold
the County harmless from any claims or damages whatsoever
arising out of the activities contemplated hereunder.
5. The term of this lease shall be for a two-year
period beginning on the 8th day of June , 1981, and
ending on the 8th day of June ,1983. This

ten (10) days notice in writing of its intention to cancel.
