RESOLUTION SETTING A SPECIAL JOINT MEETING OF THE
BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF MONROE COUNTY,
FLORIDA, THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF KEY
WEST, FLORIDA, AND THE SHERIFF OF MONROE COUNTY,
FLORIDA, FOR TUESDAY, JULY 21, 19811 AT 10:00 A.M.
IN THE COUNTY COMMISSION'S CHAMBERS LOCATED AT
310 FLEMING STREET, KEY WEST, FLORIDA.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Monroe
County, Florida, desires to set a Special Joint Meeting of the
Board of County Commissioners of Monroe County, Florida, the
City Commission of the City of Key West, Florida, and the Sheriff
of Monroe County, florida, for Tuesday, July 21, 1981, at 10:00
A.M. in the County Commission's Chambers located at 310 Fleming
Street, Key West, Florida, for the purpose of discussing the City
Jail, the use of the County Jail by the City and other business
which may properly come before said meeting, now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF
MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, as follows:
1. That said Board does hereby set a Special Joint
Meeting of the Board of County Commissioners of Monroe County,
Florida, the City Commission of the City of Key West, Florida,
and the Sheriff of Monroe County, Florida, for Tuesday, July 21,
1981, at 10:00 A.M. in the County Commission Chambers located at
310 Fleming Street, Key West, Florida, for the purpose of discus-
sing the City Jail, the use of the County Jail by the City and
other business which may properly come before said meeting.
2. That the Clerk of the Board of County Commissioners
of Monroe County, Florida, is hereby directed to forward a certi-
fied copy of this resolution to the Mayor and City Commission of
the City of Key West, Florida, and the Sheriff of Monroe County,
Florida.
