RESOLUTION NO. 234- 1981
RESOLUTION APPOINTING THREE AGENTS AS IS PROVIDED
IN CHAPTER 828 OF THE FLORIDA STATUTES, SO AS TO
PROVIDE FOR THE CARE AND CONTROL OF ANIMALS AS IS
PRESCRIBED IN THE AFORESAID STATUTE.
WHEREAS, the Florida Statute 828 provides for the appoint-
ment and designation of agents by the County Commissioners for the
purpose of taking control and custody of mistreated and other
animals as described herein, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Monroe County,
Florida deems it necessary and requires that provision be made
for such designation under the Statute, now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY CO~rISSIONERS OF
MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA as follows:
1. That the Monroe County Animal Wardens are hereby de-
signated as Agents as provided for in Florida Statutes 828.
2. That the aforesaid Monroe County Animal Wardens shall
undertake the obligations and requirements as is set forth in
the aforesaid Chapter 828 upon the passage of this resolution.
Passed and adopted by the Board of County Commissioners of
Monroe County, Florida, held on the 28th day of July A.D. 1981.
