RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CHAIRMAN OF THE BOARD OF
COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, TO
EXECUTE A SIGN LEASE BY AND BETWEEN'THE COUNTY OF
MONROE, STATE OF FLORIDA, AND THE KEY AMBASSADOR COM-
PANY.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF MONROE
COUNTY, - FLORIDA, as f ollbt�is:
That the Chairman of the Board of County Commissioners of
Monroe County, Florida, is hereby authorized to execute a Sign Lease
by and between the County of Monroe, State of Florida., and The Key
Ambassador Company, a copy of same being attached hereto.
Passed and adopted by the Board of County Commissi-oners of
Monroe County, Florida, at a regular meeting of said Board held or -
the lst day of December, A.D. 1981.

THIS LIiASI: made and executed on the 1st _ day of
DeC_Pmhar , 1981,_by and between the COUNTY 01' MONROE ,
STATI: OF FLORIDA, a political subdivision of the State of Florida,
hereinafter referred to as Lessor, and THE KI!Y AMBASSADOR COMPANY,
whose principal office Is Located at 1.000 South Roosevelt Boulevard,
Key blest, Florida, 33040, State of Florida, hereinafter referred to
as Lessee.
IN CONSIDERATION of the mutual covenants, promises and pre -
raises herein contained, the parties hereto agree as follows:
Section 1. Description of Promises and Use. Lessor here-
by leases to Lessee and Lessoo hires from Lossor for the purpose of
instilling one (1) sign as hereinafter described at the Key West
International_ Airport own.od and operated by the COUNTY OF MONROE in
location I:-9, as showy on the attached sketch ivhich .is attached here-
to and made a part hereof.
Section 2. Term of Lease. This Tease shall begin on the
1st day of November, 1981 and shall end on October 31, 1982.
Section 3. Rent. The T,essec shall pay to the Lossor the
total rent for the term of this lease Eight Ilundred forty Oollars
($840.00), in lawful money of the United States of America plus any
sales tax in advance upon execution of this lease. if Lessee termin-
ates this lease prior to the end of the term b.crcof, Lessee shall not
receive any refund.
Section 4. Sign. The Lessee is hereby granted the right
to install one (1) sign, two feet high by three feet wide, (2' x 3'),
in the areas as stated in Section 1. 'I'ho Lessee shall submit to the
Lessor a detailed drawing of the sign settinc, forth all wordi.no to
be placed on the sign including material to be used in the construction
thereof, colors, and any other matter relating thereto for approval
by the Lessor prior to installation of same. The sign shall be con-
structed in a professional manner and installed at the locations de-
signated herein in accordance with the instructions of Lessor.
Section S. Maintenance. The Lessee shall maintain the sign
in good order at all times during the term of this lease and if Lessee
(-Mils to do so, T'ossor shall give 1'essee tell (70) clays notice of

taining said sign, T,essee sloes hereby give, grant, and authorize the
Lessor to remove said sign at Lessee's expense.
Section 6. Tolephone. The Lessee shall be allowed to in-
stall a direct line telephone immediately under the sign at Lessee's
cost. Lessee further agrees to pay for any charges which are incurred
for said telephone, incluc}in; the removal thereof upon the termination
of this lease.
Section 7. Waste and Nuisance Prohibited. Lessee shall
not commit or suffor to be committed any waste in the domised premises
or any nuisance.
Section S. Taxes. Lessee shall pay, before delinquent, all
P rson��l property taxes assessed against said sign.
Section 9. Termination and Repairs. Lessee shall at the
termination of this lease remove any sign installed hereunder immedi-
ately upon termination and shall repair any damage caused by said re-
moval. If Lessee fails to remove said sign upon termination of this

right to remove said si.s;n in behalf of Lessee at Lessee's expense.
