Resolution 004-1961 \t f l i RESOLUTION NO. 4 -1961 WHEREAS, Enchanted Island, Inc., a corporation existing under the laws of the State of Florida, desires to convey certain lands to County of Monroe, a political subdivision of the State of Florida, for road purposes, and WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Monroe County, Florida, desires to accept said conveyance, now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS , OF MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, that the following described land in Monroe County, Florida, described as: A parcel of filled and submerged land lying southerly of Raccoon Key, Monroe County, Florida, and is more particu- larly described as follows: Begin at the intersection of the southeasterly line of Allamanda Avenue and the southwesterly line of Key Haven Road according to the plat of Key Haven, Second Addition, recorded in Plat Book 4, at Page 93, of Monroe County Official Records; thence South 29 degrees 46 minutes 20 seconds East a distance of 715 feet, more or less, to a point of intersection with the northerly right -of-way line of U. S. Highway Number 1; thence North 81 degrees 17 minutes East and along the said northerly right-of-way line of U. S. Highway Number 1 a distance of 64.3 feet to a point; thence North 29 degrees 46 minutes 20 seconds West a distance of 738 feet, more or less, to a point of intersection with the southeasterly line of Allamanda Avenue according to said plat of Key Haven, Second Addition; thence South 50 degrees 13 minutes 40 seconds West and along the said southeasterly line of Allamanda Avenue a distance of 60 feet back to the point of beginning. Containing 1. 0 acres, more or less, being deeded by Enchanted Island, Inc., a corporation existing under the laws of the State of Florida, ,to County of Monroe, a political subdivision of the State of Florida, for road purposes, be, and the same is hereby accepted and approved, and the Chairman and the Clerk of the Board be, and they are hereby authorized to execute the necessary acceptance on said deed of conveyance and cause same to be recorded in the Public Records of Monroe County, Florida. It is made an express condition of this conveyance that the land hereby conveyed shall be used for road or highway purposes, and in particular, as a means of ingress and egress by the general public and others to the island known as Raccoon Key, Monroe County, Florida, and should said land cease to be used for road purposes for a period of six (6) months or more, the fee simple title to said land shall revert to the grantor herein.
