RESOLUTION NO. 51 -1961
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Monroe County,
Florida, on the 6th day of December, 1960, by Resolution duly adopted,
and approved for record, that certain plat known as !'EDEN PINES COLONY
FIRST ADDITION, a re-subdivision of Lots 1 thru 14, Block 1, Eden Pines
Colony, Plat Book 4, Page 158, and a subdivision of the East 660 feet of
Gov1t. Lot 1, Section 22, Twp. 66 S., Rge. 29 E., Big Pine Key, Monroe
County, Florida", which said plat is recorded in Plat Book 5, Page 26,
Public Records of Monroe County, Florida, and
WHEREAS, Keys Sales Corporation, a Florida corporation, owner
of the property described in said plat, did reserve to the exclusive use
of property owners in said subdivision the canals as shown on said plat, and
WHEREAS, no sales of land in said plat have been made by said
corporation, and said corporation desires to revoke the reservation con-
cerning said canals as shown on said plat, and to dedicate to the perpetual
use of the public, for proper purposes, the use of said canals as shown on
said plat, and

WHEREAS, said Keys Sales Corporation has presented to the Board
of County Commissioners a dedication of said canals to the perpetual use
of the public, for proper purposes, and
WHEREAS, said Board desires to accept said dedication, now,
therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
OF MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, That the dedication by Keys Sales Cor-
poration of the canals shown on the plat known as "EDEN PINES COLONY
FIRST ADDITION, a re-subdivision of Lots 1 thru 14, Block 1, Eden Pines
Colony, Plat Book 4, Page 158, and a subdivision of the East 660 feet of
Gov1t. Lot 1, Section 22, Twp. 66 S., Rge. 29 E., Big Pine Key, Monroe
County, Floridall, which said plat is recorded in Plat Book 5, Page 26,
Public Records of Monroe County, Florida, be, and the same is hereby
accepted and approved for record, and the Chairman and the Clerk of
said Board be, and they are hereby authorized to sign the certificate of
approval on said dedication.
