WHEREAS, Ralph E. Lewis, individually and as Trustee, and
Ida Mae Lewis, his wife, desire to convey certain lands to County of
Monroe, a political subdivision of the State of Florida, for road pur-
poses, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Monroe
County, Florida, desires to accept said conveyance, now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMIS-
SIONERS OF MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, that the following described
land in Monroe County, Florida, described as:
A 100 ft. right of way for road purposes through Govt.
Lots 1 & 2 in Section 3, Govt Lot 1 in Section 2 all in
Twp. 65 S. , Rge. 35 E. and in Govt. Lot 1 in Section
35, Twp. 64 S. , Rge. 35 E. all on Long Key, Monroe
Co. , Fla. The centerline of said 100 ft. right of way
being described as follows:
Begin at a point on the West line of said Gov't. Lot 2
in Section 3, said point being 300 ft. North of an exis-
ting concrete monument on the shore of the Atlantic
Ocean; thence East at right angles to the said West line
of Gov't. Lot 2, a distance of 130 ft. to a point of curve;
thence Easterly on the arc of a tangential curve to the
right which has a radius of 2864. 93 ft. and a central
angle of 130 15' an arc distance of 662. 53 ft. to a point
of tangent; thence continue Easterly along a line tangent
to said curve, a distance of 180 ft. to a point of curve;
thence Easterly and Northeasterly along the arc of an
tangential curve to the left which has a radius of 1432. 69
ft. and a central angle of 700 001, an arc distance of
1750. 36 ft. to a point of tangent; thence Northeasterly on a
line tangent to last described curve, a distance of 2600 ft.
to a point of curve; thence Northerly on the arc of a tangen-
tial curve to the left which has a radius of 1432. 69 ft. and a
central angle of 610 001, an arc distance of 1525. 31 ft. to a
point of tangency; thence Northwesterly on a line tangent
to last described curve, a distance of 300 ft. to the end
of said right of way;
being deeded by Ralph E. Lewis, individually and as Trustee, and Ida Mae
Lewis, his wife, to County of Monroe, State of Florida, a political sub-
division of the State of Florida, for road purposes, be, and the same is
hereby accepted and approved, and the Chairman and the Clerk of the Board
be, and they are hereby authorized to execute the necessary acceptance on

parties of the First Part, and COUNTY OF MONROE, STATE OF FLORIDA,
a political subdivision of the State of Florida, party of the Second.Part.
WITNESSETH, that the said parties of the First Part, for and
in consideration of the sum of Ten Dollars and other good and valuable
considerations, to them in hand paid, the receipt whereof is hereby
acknowledged, have granted, bargained, sold, aliened, remised, released,
enfeoffed, conveyed and confirmed and by these presents do grant, bargain,
sell, alien, remise, release, enfeoff, convey and confirm unto the said .
Party of the Second Part and its successors and assigns forever, all
that certain parcel of land lying and being in the County of Monroe and

TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the same in fee simple forever. How-
ever, it is expressly understood that if a County of Monroe or State of
Florida road has not been built on the subject property within the period
of two (2) years from the date of this grant, then this grant is reverted
to the grantor, it's heirs and assigns. In the event that the road way
has been constructed in accordance with County of Monroe or State of
Florida- specifications,—then-in-that-event_the_=said_g,-antees--he-r-ein shall----,-
have and hold this property in fee simple forever, subject only to dis-
continuance of said road way in accordance with law.
And the said parties of the first part do covenant with the said
party of the Second Part that they are lawfully seized of the said premises,
that they are free of all incumbrance, and that they have good right and
lawful authority to sell the same; and that said parties of the first part do
hereby fully warrant the title to said land, and will defend the same against
the lawful claims of all persons whomsoever.
