Resolution 082-1961 RESOLUTION NO. 82 -1961 RESOLUTION TO THE FLORIDA RAILROAD AND PUBLIC UTILITIES COMMISSION BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Monroe County, Florida, are advised that Joseph G. Kennelly, Jr., d/b/a Joseph Ken- nelly Moving and Storage Company, in Docket No. 4941-CCT has made application to the Florida Railroad and Public Utilities Commission for authorization to domicile equipment at Key West, Florida, for the pur- pose of operating as a household goods carrier, transporting household goods, to-wit: personal effects, furniture, fixtures, equipment and property of stores, offices, museums, institutions, hospitals, and other property to be used in a dwelling, and that the purpose of domici- ling the equipment in Key West, Florida is so that shipments originating in Key West, Florida can be more expeditiously transported; and that the Hearing upon such application will be heard before the said Railroad Commission on September 20, 21 and 22, 1961, and WHEREAS, in the judgment of this Board of County Commissioners, such domiciling of equipment as proposed will provide a more convenient and expeditious service to not only the homeowners and other members of the general public, but to those industries and military establishments that require a shifting of employees and personnel from time to time, now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, that said Board hereby formally en- dorses and approves the foregoing application by Joseph G. Kennelly, Jr., d/b/a Joseph Kennelly Moving and Storage Company, and respectfully petitions and urges the Florida Railroad and Public Utilities Commission to grant favorable consideration to the same, and authorize the issuance of appropriate authority to conduct such operations. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a certified copy of this Reso- lution be made available for filing at the said Hearing on said applica- tion on September 20, 21 and 22, 1961, or upon any subsequent date to which said Hearing may be continued. BE IT FUR THER RESOLVED that any member or official em- ployee of this Board is also empowered to te stify in support of such application. Dated ~1-1!J . / f' , 1961.
