RESOLUTION NO. 107 -1961
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Monroe
County, Florida, is authorized under law to make rules and regula-
tions concerning the use and operation of the Clarence S. Higgs
Memorial Beach, now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSION-
ERS OF MONROE COUNTY. FLORIDA, that the Clarence S. Higgs
Memorial Beach shall be closed between the hours of 11:00 P. M. each \..~.
evening and 6:00 A. M. each morning, and any persons trespassing
on said beach during said hours will be subject to prosecution.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY SAID BOARD that the Clerk
of said Board be, and he is hereby directed to furnish copies of this
Resolution to the Sheriff of Monroe County, Florida and the Chief of
Police of The City of Key West, Florida, with a request to enforce said
hours of closing, and to arrest anyone found trespassing on said beach
during said hours of closing.
