RESOLUTION NO. 2 - 1962
A RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE STATE ROAD
DEPARTMENT TO PROVIDE FOR INSPECTION
OF THE FOUNDATIONS OF THE MAIN BRIDGES
OF THE OVERSEAS HIGHWAY,
WHEREAS, it is believed to be urgent that all foundations of main
bridges of the Overseas Highway be inspected without delay in order to
determine if repairs thereto are needed, such inspection to be made by
qualified underwater divers, now therefore
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
OF MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, as follows:
That the State Road Department of the State of Florida is hereby
requested to cause to be inspected by qualified underwater divers all
foundations of the main bridges of the Overseas Highway in order to
determine if repairs thereto are needed,
FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this Resolution be sent to
the Chairman of the State Road Department for proper action,
