RESOLUTION NO. 18 -1962
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Monroe County,
Florida received an unanticipated payment of $54,261.86 from Civil De-
fense for damage done by Hurricane Donna, and
WHEREAS, said Board desires to place said sum in the Road and
Bridge Fund of the Monroe County Budget for the year 1961-62, and to
amend said budget accordingly, now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
OF MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, that the Monroe County Budget for
the year 1961-62 is amended as follows:
1,. That there is hereby created under "Income" in the Road and
Bridge Fund an Item #100, to be known as "Federal Aid for Emergency
Work after Hurricane Donna", and said item shall contain the sum of
$54,261. 86.
2. That there is hereby created under "Expenditures" in the Road
and Bridge Fund an Item #424.01, to be known as "Payment of Monies Due
Trustees of the Internal Improvement Fund in the Amount of $28,447.93,
and Civil Defense in the amount of $813.93, for Work Caused by Hurricane
Donna" .
3. That Item #951, Contingency, under said Road and Bridge Fund
be increased by the amount of $25,000.00 to repay monies borrowed from
said fund.
4. That the Clerk of said Board be, and he is hereby authorized to
set up the above items in said budget.
