RESOLUTION NO.
67 -1962
WHEREAS, May Hill Russell, former Chairman and member of
the Monroe County Public Library Board, has resigned as Chairman and
member of said Board, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Monroe County,
Florida desires to highly commend the said May Hill Russell for her un-
selfish and untiring efforts in behalf of the Monroe County Public Library,
and
WHEREAS, during her administration, great progress has been made
in furthering the services and purposes of said library throughout Monroe
County, Florida, and such progress is greatly due to her leadership and
devotion to public service, now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
OF MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, that May Hill Russell, former Chairman
and member of the Monroe County Public Library Board, be, and she is
hereby highly commended for her unselfish and untiring efforts and devotion
to duty on behalf of the Monroe County Public Library, and said Board here-
by thanks the said May Hill Russell for her services in behalf of said Mon-
roe County Public Library.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY SAID BOARD that the Clerk of said
Board be, and he is hereby directed to forward a copy of this Resolution to
the said May Hill Russell.
