WHEREAS, Eden Pines Corporation, a Florida corporation, and
R. E. Scharf, individually, have petitioned the Board of County Commis-
sioners of Monroe County, Florida to vacate portions of a plat known as
EDEN PINES COLONY, Plat Book 4, Page 158, Public Records of Mon-
roe County, Florida, as hereinafter more particularly described, and
WHEREAS, notice has been duly published of the intention to apply
to said Board of County Commissioners for the vacation of said portions
of said plat, and
WHEREAS, Proof of Publication of intention to apply to said Board
for the vacation of said portions of said plat has been furnished to said
Board of County Commissioners, together with a certificate showing that
all State and County taxes, including the current year, have been paid on
the lands included in the portions of said plat sought to be vacated, now,
therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
OF MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, that the following portions of the plat
known as EDEN PINES COLONY, Plat Book 4, Page 158, Public Records
of Monroe County, Florida, to-wit:
Lot 1, Block 18, bordering on Narcissus Avenue; Lot
14, Block 19; and that 50-foot area designated as
"canal", lying between said Lot 1, Block 18 and Lot
14, Block 19, EDEN PINES COLONY, a subdivision
of the West 1/2 of the Southwest 1/4, Section 15,
Township 66 S" Range 29 E" on Big Pine Key, Mon-
roe County, Florida, as recorded in Plat Book 4, page
158, of the Public Records of Monroe County, Florida,
be, and the same are hereby vacated, and said property is hereby returned
into acreage for the purpose of taxation,
