RESOLUTION NO. 15 -1963
WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Monroe County, Florida, at a public
hearing on June 28, 1963, duly called and held in accordance with the zoning
regulations of Monroe County, Florida and the laws of the State of Florida,
considered the request of Russell L. Scholl for a special use permit (variance
to permit trailer occupancy) on Part of Government Lot 1, Section 5, Town-
ship 66 South, Range 33 East, Marathon, Monroe County, Florida, and
WHEREAS, after taking testimony for said request and hearing all per-
sons desiring to be heard, said Board denied said request, and
WHEREAS, the said Russell L. Scholl filed his appeal with the Board
of County Commissioners of Monroe County, Florida, in accordance with the
laws applicable thereto, asking said Board to reverse the decision of the
Monroe County Zoning Board, and
WHEREAS, on July 23, 1963, the Board of County Commissioners of
Monroe County, Florida heard such appeal, and after reviewing the record
and proceedings and action taken at said public hearing held June 28, 1963,
and after taking testimony for the action requested in said appeal, and hearing
all persons desiring to be heard, voted to uphold the decision of said Zoning
Board, and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to pass a Resolution upholding the decision
of said Zoning Board, now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF
MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, that the decision of the Monroe County Zoning
Board, made at its public hearing held June 28, 1963, denying the request of
Russell L. Scholl for a special use permit (variance to permit trailer occupancy)
on Part of Government Lot 1, Section 5, Township 66 South, Range 33 East,
Marathon, Monroe County, Florida, be, and the same is hereby upheld, and
the appeal filed by the said Russell L. Scholl, requesting the Board of County
Commissioners to reverse the decision of said Zoning Board, be, and the
same is hereby denied.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY SAID BOARD that the Zoning Director
of Monroe County, Florida be, and he is hereby directed to notify the said
Russell L. Scholl to remove any trailer that may now be on the above de-
scribed premises, within 10 days after receipt of notice from said Zoning
Director.
