RESOLUTION N0. '26-1965.
WHEREAS, JOE L. BURTON and ROBBIEE L. BURTON, his wife,
have made application that part of the subdivision known' as
TAVERNIER ACRES be vacated and returned to acreage insofar
as it applies to the following described lands, to -wit:
Lots 81 9 and 10,.'less that part of Lot 8 conveyed to
the County of Monroe, Floridan by.Joe L. Burton and
Robbie L. Burton, his wife, by Right of Way Deed,
dated April 23, 1955, recorded May 19, 1955, in Official
Records Book 33, at Page 296,.of the Public Records of
Monroe County, Florida, and less that portion of Lots
8, 9 and 10.conveyed to George Albury, Rodney Albury,
Willington Sawyer,, W. G. Stevens and John W. Shope, as
and constituting the Board of Trustees of the Buxton
Memorial Methodist Church, as described by that certain
deed dated August 14, 1961, recorded December 28, 1961,
in Official Records Book 237, at Pages 41 and 42, of
the Public Records of Monroe County, Florida; and Lots
11 to 252 inclusive, of TAVERNIER ACRES, according to
the -Plat thereof, recorded in Plat Book 2, at Page 49,
of. the Public Records of Monroe County, Florida, and
less that part of Lot 13 being acquired by the State
Road Department of the State of Florida for road
purposes;
AND WHEREAS, JOE L. BURTON and R OBBIE L. BURTON, his
wife, have filed proof of Notice of Application to vacate
said plat and certificates that all County Taxes have been
paid on said property, and it having been shown conclusively
that petitioners are the fee simple owners of said property,
and have fully complied with Sections 192.29 and 192.30 of
the Florida Statutes in making said application;
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County
Commissioners of Monroe County, Florida, that part of the
above described subdivision known as TAVERNIER ACRES, a
subdivision according to the plat thereof, recorded in Plat
Book 2, at Page 49 of the Public Records of Monroe County,
Florida, be vacated and returned to acreage and that the said
property so vacated be described thenceforth for tax purposes
as:
IRA C. HAYCOCK, ATTORNEY AT LAW, MIAMI, FLORIDA
All of the !Northeast Quarter (NEVQ of the Northeast
Quarter (NE%) of Section 27, Township 62 South, Range
38 East, less Lots 1 to 71 acc.ording to the Plat of
TAVERNIER ACRES, according:to the Plat thereof, recorded
in Plat Book 22 at Page 49, and less that part of Lot 8
dedicated as a public highway and less that portion of
Lots 8, 9 and 10 conveyed to George.Albury, Rodney Albury,
Willington Sawyer, W. G. Stevens and ,John W. Shope, as
and constituting the Board of Trustees of the Burton
Memorial Methodist Church, as described by that certain
deed dated August 14, 1961, recorded December 28, 19612
in Official Records Book 237, at Pages 41 and 421, of
the Public Records of Monroe County, Florida, and less
the Overseas Highway,over and.across said lands.
