WHEREAS, Boyd N. Hamilton and Elsie M. Hamilton, his wife, de-
sire to convey certain lands to the County of Monroe, State of Florida, for
road purposes, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners. of Monroe County,
Florida desires to accept said conveyance; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
OF MONROE. COUNTY, FLORIDA, that the following described land in
Monroe County, Florida, to -wit:
A strip of land in a part of Block 45 of the "PLAT OF STOCK
ISLAND", as recorded in Plat Book 1, Page 55 of the Public
Records of Monroe County, Florida and being more particular-
ly described by metes and bounds as follows:
Commencing at the Southeast Corner of Lot 12 of Block 45
said Corner to be known as the Point of Beginning of the strip
of land hereinafter described, bear northwesterly along the
northeasterly right-of-way line of Maloney Avenue for a dis-
tance of 50 feet; thence bear North 42 degrees and 50 minutes.
East, 93. 15 feet; thence bear East 300 feet, more or less, to
a point on the shoreline of Hawk Channel; thence rre:ander the
shoreline of Hawk Channel in a southeasterly direction 40 feet,
more or less, to the South line of Lot 11 of Block 45; thence
bear West along the South lines of Lots 7, 8, 9, 10 and 11,
290 feet, more or less, to the Northeast Corner of Lot 12;
thence bear South 42 degrees and 50 minutes West 93. 15 feet
back to the Point of Beginning,
being deeded by Boyd N. Hamilton and Elsie M. Hamilton, his wife, to the
County of Monroe, State of Florida, for road purposes, be, and the same
is hereby accepted and approved, and the Chairman and the Clerk of said
Board be, and they are hereby authorized to execute the necessary accep-
tance on said deed of conveyance, and cause. same to be recorded in the
Public Records of Monroe County, Florida. -
