RESOLUTION NO.
SA -1965
WHEREAS, it is necessary to create items under the Road and
Bridge Fund of the Monroe County Budget for the year 1965-66, to account
for funds borrowed and paid out in having to repair roads and remove de-
bris, as a result of hurricane "Betsy", now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF MONROE COUNTY,
FLORIDA, as follows:
1. That there is hereby created under "Income" in the Road and
Bridge Fund of the Monroe County Budget for the year 1965-66, an item to
be known as Item #100.03, Federal Aid for Emergency Work after Hurricane
"Betsy". This item shall contain the sum of $200,000.00; also, an item to
be known as Item #180, Loans. This item shall contain the sum of
$200,000.00.
2. That there is hereby created under "Expenditures" in the Road
and Bridge Fund of the Monroe County Budget for the year 1965-66, and item
to be known as Item #424.01, Payments for Disaster Clean-Up. This item
shall contain the sum of $200,000.00; also, an Item #773, Repayment of
Loans. This item shall contain the sum of $200,000.00.
3. That upon receipt of the unanticipated funds from the Trustees of
the Internal Improvement Fund of the State of Florida, the Federal Disaster
Relief, and other aid, the Clerk of said Board be, and he is hereby directed
to deposit said funds in said newly created Items 4J100.03, Federal.,Aid for
Emergency Work after Hurricane "Betsy", and #180, Loans.
