WHEREAS, the County of Monroe, State of Florida has received
unanticipated funds in the amount of $18, 474..00 from the State of Florida,
for use by the Monroe County Public Library, and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to create certain items in the Supple-
ment to the General Revenue Fund in the Monroe County Budget for the
year 1965-66, to budget said unanticipated funds, now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
OF MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, that the Monroe County Budget for the
year 1965-66 is hereby amended as follows:
1. There is hereby created under "Income" in the Supplement to the
General Revenue Fund an item to be known as Item #100, State Grants to
Public Libraries, and the Clerk of said Board is. hereby authorized to in-
crease the Supplement to the General Revenue Fund by the amount of
$18, 474. 00, and to place said amount in said newly created Item #100,
State Grant's to Public Libraries.
2. There is. hereby created under "Expenditures" in the Supplement
to the General Revenue Fund an item to be known as Item #677. 0.1, Federal
Aid for Purchase of Books, and the Clerk of said Board is. hereby authorized,
to place in said newly created Item #677..01, Federal Aid for Purchase of
Books.,- the sum of $4, 792. 00
3. There is_ hereby created under "Expenditures" in the Supplement
to the General Revenue Fund an item to be known as Item #677. 02, State Aid
to Public Libraries. (Florida Statutes, Sections 257. 13 - 257.25), and the
Clerk of said Board is. hereby authorized to place in said newly created
Item #677. 02, State Aid to Public Libraries (Florida Statutes., Sections
257. 13 - 257. 25), the sum of $13, 682. 00.
