RESOLUTION NO,
96-1965
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissionors of Monroe County,
Florida desires to renounce and disclaim any right of the County and the
public in and to the hereinafter described street, alley-way, road or high-
way as delineated on the hereinafter described map or plat, and
WHEREAS, under Chapter 336, Florida Statutes, it is necessary to
hold a public hearing after publishing due notice of said hearing in accor-
dance with said Chapter, now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
OF MONROE COUNTY J FLORIDA, that at 8:00 P. M. Tuesday, December
14, 1965, said Board will hold a public hearing to determine whether or
not said Board will renounce and disclaim any right of the County and the
public in and to the following described street, alley-way, road or highway:
A portion of Pine Lane as depicted upon the Plat of Whis-
pering Pines Plat No.3 in Government Lot 3, Section 23
& Government Lot 2, Section 24, Township 66 South,
Range 29 East, and adjacent submerged land, Big Pine
Key, Monroe County, Florida, recorded in Plat Book 4,
at Page 59 of the Public Records of Monroe County, Flori-
da, and more particularly described by metes and bounds
as follows:
Commencing at the intersection of the Northeasterly right-
of-way line of Pine Lane and the Northwesterly boundary
line of Lot 2 of said Whispering Pines Plat No. 3 Subdivi-
sion; thence run Southeasterly along the Northeasterly
right-of-way line of Pine Lane a distance of 110.11 feet to
a point; thence Easterly a distance of 28.28 feet to the
Southwesterly right-of-way line of Pine Lane; thence run
Northwesterly along said Southwesterly right-of-way line
of Pine Lane a distance of 100 feet, more or less, to a
point; thence at right angles run Northeasterly for a distance
of 20 feet back to the point of beginning.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY SAID BOARD that the Clerk of said
Board be, and he is hereby ordered to publish notice of said meeting in
accordance with the provisions of Chapter 336, Florida Statutes.
