RESOLUTION NO. 33fi-1966
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Monroe County,
Florida has been petitioned to renounce and disclaim any right of the County
and the public in and to the hereinafter described street, alley -way, road or
highway a-s delineated on the hereinafter described map or plat, and
WHEREAS, due notice has been published and a public hearing has been
held in accordance with Chapter 336, Florida Statutes, and
WHEREAS, at said public hearing no objections were made to the re-
nouncing and disclaiming of any right of the County and the public in and to the
hereinafter described street, alley -way, road or highway as delineated on the
hereinafter described map or plat, now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF
MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, that said Board hereby renounces and dis-
claims any right of the County and the public in and to the following described
street, alley -way, road or highway as delineated on the hereinafter described
map or plat, to -wit:
A strip of land 50 feet in width in "The .Sombrero Properties",
as recorded in Plat Book 5, Page 101 of the Public Records of
Monroe County, Florida and being more particularly described
by metes and bounds as follows:
A strip of land 25 feet each side of the following described
centerline; commencing at the Northwest Corner of Parcel 5 .
of the said "Sombrero Properties", bear .South 76 degrees
and 56 minutes West, 25 feet to the Point of Beginning of the
centerline hereinafter described; from said Point of Begin-
ning, bear South 17 degrees and 04 minutes East, 607. 99
feet to a Point of Curve, said Curve having a central angle
of 45 degrees and 20 minutes and a radius of 1157. 69 feet;
thence along said Curve in a southerly direction and deflect-
ing to the right, 915. 98 feet to a Point of Tangent; thence
bear South 28 degrees and 16 minutes West, 530. 03 feet to
a Point of Curve, said Curve having a central angle of 12
degrees, 37 minutes and 30 seconds and a radius of 1157. 69
feet; thence along said Curve in a Southerly direction and de-
flecting to the right, 255. 09 feet to a Point of Tangent; thence
bear South 40 degrees, 53 minutes and 30 seconds. West,
439. 00 feet to a Point of Curve, said Curve having a central
angle of 16 degrees and 00 minutes and a radius of 1707. 69_
feet;, thence along said curve in a southerly direction and de-
flecting.to the left, 476. 88 feet to a Point of Tangent; thence

angle of 10 degrees, 19 minutes and 30 .seconds and a radius
of 2185. 08 feet; thence along said curve in a southerly direc-
tion and deflecting to the left, 393. 76 feet to a Point of Tan-
gent; thence bear South 00 degrees, 52 minutes and 00 sec-
onds West, 302. 58 feet; thence bear South 89 degrees and 08
minutes East, 225 feet, thus ending this description.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY SAID BOARD that the Clerk of said
Board be, and he is hereby ordered to publish notice of the adoption of this
Resolution by said Board in accordance with the provisions of Chapter 336,
Florida Statutes.
