Resolution 073-1966 RESOLUTION NO. 73-1966 WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Monroe County, Florida has been petitioned to renounce and disclaim any right of the County and the public in and to the hereinafter described street, alley-way, road or highway as delineated on the hereinafter described map or plat, and WHEREAS, due notice has been published and a public hearing has been held in accordance with Chapter 336, Florida Statutes, and WHEREAS, at said public hearing no objections were made to the re- nouncing and disclaiming of any right of the County and the public in and to the hereinafter described street, alley-way, road or highway as delineated on the hereinafter described map or plat, now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, that said Board hereby renounces and disclaims any right of the County and the public in and to the following de- scribed street, alley-way, road or highway as delineated on the hereinafter described map or plat, to-wit: A strip of land 50 feet in width, being known as a part of Warner Street of the "VIRGIL S. LOWE SUBDIVISION", as recorded in Plat Book 3, Page 31, of the Public Records of Monroe County, Florida and being more particularly described by metes and bounds as follows: Commencing at the intersection of the South Line of Section 25, T. 66 S., R. 29 E., and the Northeasterly line of U. S. High- way No, 1, bear North 22 degrees, 55 minutes and 33 seconds West along the Northeasterly Line of U. S. Highway No. 1 for a distance of 545.92 feet to a point; thence bear South 89 degrees, 39 minutes and 12 seconds East for a distance of 254.00 feet to the Point of Beginning of the strip of Warner Street hereinafter described; from said Point of Beginning, bear North 04 degrees, 06 minutes and 48 seconds West along the westerly line of Warner Street for a distance of 450. 32 feet to a point; thence bear South 89 degrees, 39 minutes and 12 seconds East for a distance of 50. 15 feet to the easterly line of Warner Street; thence bear South 04 degrees, 06 minutes and 48 seconds East for a distance of 450.32 feet to a point which is bearing South 89 degrees, 30 min- utes and 12 seconds East from the Point of Beginning; thence bear North 89 degrees, 39 minutes and 12 seconds West for a distance of 50. 15 feet, back to the Point of Beginning. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY SAID BOARD that the Clerk of said Board be, and he is hereby ordered to publish notice of the adoption of this Resolution by said Board in accordance with the provisions of Chapter 336, Florida Statutes.
