HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution 034A-1967RESOLUTION NO. 34A-1967 WHEREAS, John S. Kemp and Hilda S. Kemp, his wife, William Cleare Filer and Anne G. Filer, his wife, Rosalie B. Grooms, joined by her husband Bascom L. Grooms, and Viola B. Tyler, joined by her husband George Boyd Tyler, desire to convey certain lands to the County of Monroe, State of Florida, for road purposes, and WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Monroe County, Florida desires to accept said conveyances, now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, that the following described lands in Monroe County, Florida, to -wit: Located on Big Torch Key, Monroe County, Florida: Begin at the Northeast corner of Government Lot 1, Sec- tion 13, Township 66 South, Range 28 East; thence run South along the East line of said Government Lot 1 a dis- tance of 2, 480 feet to a point, which point is the point of beginning; thence run South along the East line of said Government Lot 1 a distance of 20 feet; thence West a dis- tance of 850 feet more or less to the Westerly shoreline of Big Torch Key; thence Northerly and Westerly a distance of 20 feet more or less to a point of intersection with a line drawn parallel to and 2, 480 feet South of the North line of said Government Lot 1; thence East a distance of 850 feet more or less back to the Point of Beginning, being deeded by John S. Kemp and Hilda S. Kemp, his wife, Located on Big Torch Key, Monroe County, Florida: Begin at the Northeast corner of Government Lot 1, Sec- tion 13, Township 66 South, Range 28 East; thence run South along the East line of said Government Lot 1 a dis- tance of 2, 480 feet to a point, which point is the Point of Beginning; thence run North along the East line of said Gov- ernment Lot 1 a distance of 30 feet; thence West and parallel with the North line of said Government Lot 1 a distance of 850 feet more or less to the Westerly shoreline of Big Torch Key, thence Southerly and Easterly along the meanders of said shoreline a distance of 30 feet more or less to a point of intersection with a line drawn parallel to and 2, 480 feet South of the North line of said Government Lot 1; thence East a distance of 850 feet more or less back to the Point of Beginning, being deeded by William Cleare Filer and Anne G. Filer, his wife, Located on Big Torch Key, Monroe County, Florida: Begin at the Southeast corner of Government Lot 5, Section 12, Township 66 South, Range 28 East; thence run North along the East line of said Government Lot 5 a distance of 50 feet to a point; thence run ,West and parallel with the South line of said Government Lot 5 a distance of 760 feet more or less to the Westerly shoreline of Big Torch Key; thence Southerly and Easterly along the meanders of said shoreline a distance of 50 feet more or less to a point of intersection with the South line of said Government Lot 5; thence East along the South line of said Government Lot 5 a distance of 760 feet more or less back to the Point of Beginning, being deeded by Rosalie B. Grooms, joined by her husband Bascom L. Grooms, and Located on Big Torch Key, Monroe County, Florida: Begin at the Southeast corner of Government Lot 5, Sec- tion 12, Township 66 South, Range 28 East; thence run North along the East line of said Government Lot 5 a dis- tance of 50 feet to a point; thence run West and parallel with the South line of said Government Lot 5 a distance of 760 feet more or less to the Westerly shore line of Big Torch Key; thence Southerly and Easterly along the mean- ders of said shoreline a distance of 50 feet more or less to a point of intersection with the South line of said Gov- ernment Lot 5; thence East along the South line of said Government Lot 5 a distance of 760 feet more or less back to the Point of Beginning, being deeded by Viola B. Tyler, joined by her husband George Boyd Tyler, to the County of Monroe, State of Florida, for road purposes, be, and the same are hereby accepted and approved, and the Chairman and the Clerk of the Board be, and they are hereby authorized to execute the necessary acceptances on said deeds of conveyance, and cause same to be recorded in the Public Records of Monroe County, Florida.
