WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Monroe County,
Florida desires to renounce and disclaim any right of the County and the
public in and to the hereinafter described street, alley -way, road or high-
way as delineated on the hereinafter described map or plat, and
WHEREAS, under Chapter 336, Florida Statutes, it is necessary to
hold a public hearing after publishing due notice of said hearing in accor-
dance with said Chapter, now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
OF MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, that at 8:00 P. M. Tuesday, November
28, 1967, said Board will hold a public hearing to determine whether or
not said Board will renounce and disclaim any right of the County and the
public in and to the following described street, alley -way, road or highway:
The Easterly 72. 50 feet of Sandpiper Lane, located in
Sombrero Beach Village, a Subdivision of Portions of
Government Lot 1, Sec. 14, Twp. 66 S. , Rge 32 E. ,
and Government Lots 1 & 2, Sec. 15, Twp. 66 S. , Rge.
32 E. , Boot Key, Monroe County, Florida, as recorded
in Plat Book 5, Page 86 of the Public Records of Monroe
County, Florida.
ALSO
The Easterly 75 feet of Man-O-War Road, located in
Sombrero Beach Village, a Subdivision of Portions of
Government Lot 1, Sec. 14, Twp. 66 S., Rge. 32 E.,
and Government Lots 1 & 2, Sec. 15, Twp. 66 S., Rge.
32 E. , Boot Key, Monroe County, Florida, as recorded
in Plat Book 5, Page 86 of the Public Records of Monroe
County, Florida.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY SAID BOARD that the Clerk of said
Board be, and he is hereby ordered to publish notice of said meeting in
accordance with the provisions of Chapter 336, Florida Statutes.

Comes now CHESTER F. TINGLER and LILLIAN P. TINGLER, his
wife, and HENRY A. GRAEF and ESTELLE 0. GRAEF, his wife, to petition
The Honorable Board of County Commissioners for removal of a portion of
roadways and allege as follows, to -wit:
1. That your petitioners, CHESTER F. TINGLER and LILLIAN Po
TINGLER, his wife, did dedicate Sandpiper Lane and Man-O-War Road by
virtue of their plat of Sombrero Beach Village recorded in Plat Book 5, Page
86 of the Public Records of Monroe County, Florida; that prior to said
dedication they were the sole owners of all acreage contained within the
boundaries of said plat including said road and lane.
2, That HENRY A. GRAEF and ESTELLE�. GRAEF, his wife, have
purchased Lot 20 of Block 2 of Sombrero Beach Village recorded in Plat Book
5, Page 86 of the Public Records of Monroe County, Florida; that Lot 1 of
Block 1,. Sombrero Beach Village recorded in Plat Book 5, Page-86--is owned
by your petitioners CHESTER F. TINGLER and LILLIAN Po TINGLER, his
wife; that your petitioners request removal of the Easterly 72. 50 feet of
Sandpiper Lane as reflected in Sombrero Beach Village and removal of the
Easterly 75 feet of Man®O-War Road as reflected in said plat of Sombrero
Beach Village.
