Resolution 015-1968RESOLUTION NO. 15 -1968 WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Monroe County, Florida desires, as a public service, to continue to pay the light and water bills incurred in the operation of the East Martello Tower Museum by the Key West Art and Historical Society, and WHEREAS, said Board desires, as of January 1, 1968, to amend the Lease entered into on April 8, 1958, by and between the County of Monroe, State of Florida, a political subdivision of the State of Florida, as Lessor, and Key West Art and Historical Society, a non-profit corporation organized and existing under the laws of the State of Florida, as Lessee, to provide for the payment of such bills, now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, that as of January 1, 1968, paragraph 2 d. of that certain Lease entered into on April 8, 1958, by and between the County of Monroe, State of Florida, a political subdivision of the State of Florida, as Lessor, and Key West Art and Historical Society, a non-profit corporation organized and existing under the laws of the State of Florida, as Lessee, leasing the premises known as the East Martello Tower, more fully described in said Lease, be, and the same is hereby amended to read as follows: r 2. d. Will pay any and all charges for ordinary maintenance and care of the premises, but the County shall pay the light and water bills incurred in the operation of the historical museum and art gallery located on said pre- mises, and the County shall from time to time pay for and make any major repairs that it may deem advisable to the premises.
