RESOLUTION NO.
23 -1968
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE SALE OF $2,600,000 BRIDGE
REVENUE BONDS OF MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, OF 1967.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNT Y COMMISSIONERS OF
MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, as follows:
1. That $2, 600, 000 Bridge Revenue Bonds of Monroe County, Florida,
of 1967, heretofore authorized by Resolution No. 54-1967 adopted by the
Board of County Commissioners of Monroe County, Florida on November
14, 1967, pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 159, Laws of Florida, as
amended, and other applicable provisions of law, be, and the same are
hereby authorized to be sold at public sale upon sealed bids at a meeting
of said Board to be held at 2:00 P. M. on Tuesday, April 30, 1968, or at
such other time as the Mayor of Monroe County and Chairman of the Board
shall in his discretion deem advisable.
2. That prior to the sale of said bonds a notice of sale shall be duly
published in The Bond Buyer, New York City, at least once not less than
seven (7) days prior to the date of sale of said Bonds.
3. That the Official Statement prepared under the supervision of
Goodbody & Company, be, and the same is hereby approved, and the Mayor
of Monroe County and Chairman of said Board is hereby authorized to sign
said Official Statement.
