Resolution 061-1968 '~ RESOLUTION NO. 61-1968 WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Monroe County, Florida, at a public hearing held on February 23, 1968, duly called and held in accordance with the zoning regulations of Monroe County, Florida and the laws of the State of Florida, considered the request of Joseph De Bellas for a variance to per- mit operation of a beauty parlor in an RU -1 zone, on Lot 5, Block 4, Lida Subdivision 1st Addition (P. B. 4, p. 103), Marathon, Monroe County, Florida, and WHEREAS, after taking testimony and hearing all persons desiring to be heard, said Board denied said request, and WHEREAS, Jean Bickman filed an appeal with the Board of County Commissioners of Monroe County, Florida, in accordance with the laws ap- plicable thereto, asking said Board to reverse the decision of the Zoning Board, and WHEREAS, on May 14, 1968, the Board of County Commissioners heard such appeal, and after reviewing the record and proceedings and action taken at said public hearing on February 23, 1968, and hearing all persons desiring to be heard, voted to reverse the decision of said Zoning Board, and WHEREAS, it is ne cessary to pass a Resolution reversing the decision of said Zoning Board, now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, that the decision of the Zoning Board, made at its public hearing held February 23, 1968, denying the request of Joseph De Bellas for a variance to permit operation of a beauty parlor in an R U-l zone, on Lot 5, Block 4, Lida Subdivision 1st Addition (P. B. 4, p. 103), Marathon, Monroe County, Florida, be, and the same is hereby reversed, and the appeal filed by Jean Bickman, requesting the Board of County Com- missioners to reverse the decision of said Zoning Board be, and the same is hereby granted.
