Resolution 311-1993 Growth Management RESOLUTION NO. 311 -1993 A RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 117-1993 IN ORDER TO REVISE PERMIT FEES PURSUANT TO MONROE COUNTY ORDINANCE NO. 031-1992, TO REFLECT A CHANGE IN NON-REFUNDABLE PERMIT APPLICATION FEES FROM $250.00 TO: $1,500.00 FOR NEW COMMERCIAL BUILDINGS, MULTI-FAMILY BUILDINGS, AND DUPLEXES; $750.00 FOR CONVENTIONAL SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENCES; AND $500.00 FOR MODULAR HOMES. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA: Section 1. Resolution No. 117-1993 is hereby amended to read as follows: Section 1. Building permit applicants for new commercial buildings, multi-family buildings, and duplexes shall pay a non-refundable $1,500.00 fee at the time of filing for a building permit. Building permit applicants for conventional single family residences shall pay a non-refundable $750.00 fee at the time of filing for a building permit. Building permit applicants for modular homes shall pay a non-refundable $500.00 fee at the time of filing for a building permit. Mobile homes are exempt from paying an application fee. If the application is approved, the fee shall be deducted from any other amount which may be due and owing under the other terms of this subsection. 2 3. All comrnercial................100.00 These fees refers to Building Permit review and not to Planning Fees charged for Development Review. (f) Reinspection Fees When extra inspection trips are necessary due to anyone of the following reasons, a charge of twenty-five ($25.00) dollars shall be made for each trip: (1) Wrong address. (2) Work not in accordance with plans and specifications. (3) Rejected work resulting from faulty construction. (4) Repairs or corrections not made when inspection is called. (5) Work not ready for inspection when called. The payment of reinspect ion fees shall be made before any further inspections will be made for the person owing same. (g) Miscellaneous Fees 1. Transfer of a building permit upon change of ownership......200.00 2. Renew expired permit per Resolution 302-1987 (within 365 days)... ......... .100.00 3. Plus any other applicable fees as required. 10 (h) Blasting Fees Payment of a fee in an amount not to exceed fifty dollars ($50.00) per month or six hundred dollars ($600) per year for a user permit and one hundred dollars ($100) per year for a blaster permit. The Clerk of the Board is hereby directed to forward one (1) certified copy of this Resolution to the Division of Growth Management.
