HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution 010-1969s RESOLUTION NO. 10 -1969 WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Monroe County, Florida recognizes the advantages of a qualified dog -training program in this community, and WHEREAS, the Dog Obedience Training Club of Key West, Inc., a non-profit corporation organized and existing under the laws of the State of Florida, has offered to conduct such a program, and WHEREAS, said corporation has requested the use of certain property owned by Monroe County, Florida, to conduct said program, now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, that said Board hereby grants to the Dog Obedience Training Club of Key West, Inc. , permission to use the park- ing lot at the Key West International Airport, Key West, Florida, between the hours of 7:00 and 9:00 P.M. for two (2) evenings each week, for its chartered purposes. The evenings on which the training classes are to be held shall be mutually agreed upon between said corporation and the Board, and said program shall be conducted under such rules and regulations as the Board shall from time to time promulgate, it being understood that the per- missive use of said location shall be at the pleasure of said Board. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY SAID BOARD that the said Dog Obedience Training Club of Key West, Inc. shall be fully responsible for its use of said premises, and that in its use of said premises said corporation covenants and agrees to save harmless Monroe County, Florida from any claim for liability by members of the public or said corporation for damage or injury occasioned by the use of said property by said corporation, and ' that said corporation will obtain, pay the premium for, and exhibit to the Board a policy of liability insurance sufficient to accomplish its save -harmless agreement, in an amount of indemnity as shall be specified by said Board.
