RESOLUTION NO. 69 -1969
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Monroe County,
Florida desires to renounce and disclaim any right of the County and the
public in and to the hereinafter described street, alley-way, road or high-
way as delineated on the hereinafter described map or plat, and
WHEREAS, under Chapter 336, Florida Statutes, it is necessary to
hold a public hearing after publishing due notice of said hearing in accor-
dance with said Chapter, now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
OF MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, that at
2:00 P. M. Tuesday,
September 9th
, 1969, said Board will hold a public hearing
to determine whether or not said Board will renounce and disclaim any
right of the County and the public in and to the following described street,
alley-way, road or highway:
A part of Sombrero Boulevard of "THE SOMBRERO PROPER-
TIES", as recorded in Plat Book 5, Page 101 of the Public Re-
cords of Monroe County, Florida, lying easterly of and adjacent
to Parcel 9 (Clubhouse Site) of said llS0MBRERO PROPER TIESll
and being more particularly described by metes and bounds as
follows: Commencing at the Northeast Corner of Parcel 9, said
Northeast Corner to be known as the Point of Beginning of that
part of Sombrero Boulevard hereinafter described, bear North
49 degrees and 29 minutes East, 56.93 feet; thence bear South
15 degrees and 57 minutes East, 283.81 feet; thence beat South
74 degrees and 03 minutes West, 50 feet to the Southeast Corner
of Parcel 9; thence bear North 15 degrees and 57 minutes West,
along the East Line of Parcel 9, 256.59 feet, back to the Point
of Beginning.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY SAID BOARD that the Clerk of said
Board be, and he is hereby ordered to publish notice of said meetincr in

accordance with the provisions of Chapter 336, Florida Statutes.

to request an abandonment on the part of the County of this
previously dedicated area.
