RESOLUTION NO. 104 -1969
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Monroe County,
Florida desires to renounce and disclaim any r~ght of the County and the
public in and- to the hereinafter described street, alley-way, road or high-
way as deli'neated on the hereina'fter described map or plat, and
WHEREAS, under Chapter 336, Florida Statutes, it is necessary to
hold a -public hearing after publishing due .notice of said hearing in accor-
dance with said Chapter, now, ,therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY ,COMMISSIONERS
OF MONRbE COUNTY, FLORIDA; that at 2 :00

P. 41), in Section 5., Township 54 South, Range .37 East,
Upper Matecumbe Key, Monroe County,. Florida, as re-
corded in Plat Book 3, page 118, of the Public Records
of Monroe County, Florida.

Board be, and he is hereby ordered to publish notice of ,said meeting in

Dear Sirs.
When we bought this propert Mr. Coury told us this
strip of property as shown on blue printB was to be given only if Mr.
Brown.Then owner of adjoining property would be giving the same amount.
Then it would be a 20 ft. private st....
Mr. Brown never gave his part of this strip.So this
privaie road should not be on record.
You will see by letter A Mr Coury request also
Plat Map C is not correct.
Mr. Courys blue print B shows the perposed road ended
at last lot, Not at the ocean.
Some time ago I gave Mr. Harry Harris the letter
A to him, But have not heard from him, So I am st...ting over.
I have made a trailer park of this subdivision.
And if some of my tenents wanted to move a 12 ft. wide trailer. This
10 ft. road would not be adequate, So I'm wanting this 10 ft. strip
taken off the record. And turned bawk to the Coury Subdivision.

To Whom it may concern;
Concerning the Coury Sub-Division in Islamorada.
There was a verbal agreement between ~IT. Brown, the owner
of the adjoining property and I, that we would each leave
a 10ft strip, which would make a 20ft road, as I had my
property sub-divided into .50ft lots. This was to be to
both of our advantage as I had intended to build a series
of homes.
I have never given or dedicated my 10ft strip to the co~~ty
as that was to be strickly a Private road. Since r~r Brown
has passed away the idea was abandoned, and a road was never
built, so please remove tram your records that a road from
the old highway to the ocean exists.
