RESOLUTION NO.I:/.-~ -1969
WHEREAS, on April 22, 1969, the Board of County Commissioners
of Monroe County, Florida adopted Resolution No. 36-1969, authorizing
the is suance of fill and dredge permits to the Department of Transportation
(Florida State Road Department) for Proposed Dredging Area # 1 in Spanish
Harbor, and Proposed Dredging Area #2 in the Straits of Florida, as de-
lineated on sketches of survey attached to said Resolution, and
WHEREAS, since said date the Department of Transport ation has
revised the location of said areas, and new areas have been designated
for such filling and dredging, and
WHEREAS, said Department has requested that the Board of County
Commissioners of Monroe County, Florida issue fill and dredge permits
to said Department for said new areas, now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
OF MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, that fill and dredge permits be is sued
to the State of Florida Department of Transportation for the areas as de-
lineated on the sketch of survey attached hereto and made a part of this
Resolution.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY SAID BOARD that the Clerk of said
Board be, and he is hereby authorized to forward certified copies of this
Resolution to the Department of Transportation.
