RESOLUTION NO. -2000
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA,
AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 364-1992 AND ANY
OTHER PREVIOUS FEE SCHEDULES INCONSISTENT
HEREWITH, AND AMENDING THE PLANNING
DEPARTMENT FEE SCHEDULE TO INCLUDE
APPLICATION FEES FOR A VACATION RENTAL
MANAGER'S LICENSE, PURSUANT TO SECTION 9.5-
534 (d)(3) OF THE MONROE COUNTY CODE.
WHEREAS, the Monroe County Board of County Commissioners
wishes to provide citizens of the County with the best possible service in the most
cost effective and reasonable manner; and
WHEREAS, Ordinance 044-00, which provides for a vacation rental
manager to be the designated contact for all vacation rental units was adopted by
the Monroe Count Board of County Commissioners on August 16, 2000 and
became effective on November 10, 2000; and
WHEREAS, Section 9.5-534(d)(3), of the Monroe County Code enables
the Board of County Commissioners to establish, by Resolution, a fee for a
Vacation Rental Manager's License; and
WHEREAS, as indicated in attachment 1, the Director or Planning has
demonstrated that review and issuance of the vacation rental manager licenses
have associated costs to the County; and

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD~~
