RESOLUTION NO. 1-1979
RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING MONROE COUNTY COMMISSIONER
GEORGE E. DOLEZAL BE APPOINTED TO THE CRIMINAL JUS-
TICE ADVISORY COUNCIL.
WHEREAS, the Governor of the State of Florida has been
delegated the responsibility of appointing a Monroe County Commis-
sioner to the Criminal Justice Advisory Council, and
WHEREAS, the Governor had previously appointed Commis-
sioner Jerome V. Shipley who is no longer a Commissioner on the
Monroe County Board of County Commissioners, now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF
MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, as follows:
1. That said Board hereby requests and recommends to the
Honorable Bob Graham, Governor of the State of Florida, that he
appoint Commissioner George E. Dolezal to the Criminal Justice
Advisory Council in place of Jerome V. Shipley.
2. That the Clerk is hereby directed to forward a certi-
fied copy of this resolution to the Governor and the Monroe County
Legislative Delegation.
