RESOLUTION NO,43 -1979
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CHAIRMAN OF THE BOARD OF
COUNTY CO~~ISSIONERS OF MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, TO
EXECUTE AN ENGINEERING SERVICES AGREEMENT FOR KEY
WEST INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT ADAP PROJ. NO. 8-12-0037-04
BY AND BETWEEN THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS,
MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, AND CONNELL METCALF AND EDDY,
INC. TO CONTINUE WITH THE AIRPORT DEVELOPMENT PROJECT
FOR INSTALLATION OF SECURITY FENCING.
WHEREAS, the County had previously initiated action for
installation of security fencing at Key West International Airport
during 1978, and
WHEREAS, the Commission had engaged the services of Connell
Metcalf and Eddy, Inc. to perform the design and assist in the
construction phase of the project, and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of both parties to
formalize said agreement in that the previous consulting contract
terminated as of December 31, 1978, and the parties desire that
the security fencing project be completed at the Key West Inter-
national Airport, now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF
MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, as follows:
That the Chairman be authorized to execute an Engineering
Services Agreement for Key West International Airport ADAP
Proj. No, 8-12-0037-04 by and between the Board of County Commis-
sioners, Monroe County, Florida, and Connell, Metcalf and Eddy,
Inc., a copy of same being attached hereto, to continue with the
Airport Development Project for installation of security fencing.
Passed and adopted by the Board of County Commissioners of
Monroe County, Florida, at a regular meeting held on the 27th
day of February, 1979.
